Now that I got your attention, no, this post is not about the movie, nor about Tiffany’s diamonds, but surely about breakfast. If you follow me on Instagram, then you already know what I was up to this morning, and where I had my breakfast. In case you are not, then fear not, I am about to share it with you in an instant. As Paris is starting to treat us with some really nice and sunny weather, I thought I should take advantage of it and decided to upgrade my morning with a breakfast with a view over the Eiffel Tower. No bling- bling involved.
So yes, I woke up early on a Saturday morning. I took the train AND the croissant (without it, chances are, Eiffel Tower won’t look the same), then grabbed a coffee in one of the coffee shops on the way, and by 7 am I was right in front of the Iron Lady. For the first time, I got to see this place empty. There were almost no people, except for the few who were there for wedding photo-shoots. But exactly because of these wedding photo shoots, we were kindly asked to move from the sweet spot, for five minutes, he said. Well, happily at that time we were done with our little breakfast romance, so we didn’t mind too much. Maybe just a bit surprised by the photographer’s approach 🙂
Also, another plus to visit the landmark of Paris at early morning hours, is that you can take your pictures without being concerned about someone photobombing your dear efforts to strike a pose trying to look at least half as elegant as this tall Iron Lady.
I bet you saw this coming, the picture on the stairs of fame. Every tourist, that has ever visited this place, is in possession of at least one version of a photo on these stairs with the Tower in the background, and I understand why. This is a picture-postcard view no doubt about it.
The last but not the least, mornings are a great time to have a bit of fun that would kick-start your day. So next time you are in Paris, don’t hesitate to transform your breakfast in an unforgettable experience that will set the good tone for the day.
More breakfast dates are coming, don’t miss out.
Happy weekend, Victoria V.
